The Ghana Exports Promotion Authority (GEPA) will host its maiden Adinkra International Arts and Craft Show at the Papaye Recreational Centre in Konkonuru, Aburi, in the Eastern Region of Ghana from April 26 to May 5.
It will showcase art and craft works from a wide array of exhibitors including the National Association of Handicraft Exporters (NAHE), Greater Accra Handicraft Dealers Association and the (GAHDA), Federation of Handicraft Association (FHA), and Traditional Kente Producers Association (TKPA), among others.
The ten-day event will serve as the hub for knowledge sharing and inspiration, while championing authentic African art, craft, and household décor as well as jewellery and textile products.
According to GEPA’s director of projects, Alex Dadzawa,the international show, which will be a biennial event, will highlight the African culture and position Ghana as the hub for the arts and craft business across the continent.
